Cassandra Snow at Venus or Vixen? "This is another one of those community sites I keep talking about. They gather erotic photographers from all over the web so you can get a glimpse in one place. Remember, this isn't porn. It's art... Innocence Lost is a worthy venue for erotica on the web. I find it much more erotic to see a naked woman in shadows than with her legs all spread." fierce dot com Here at innocence-lost.com we are trying to create a coherent theme around the positive aspects of sex and sexuality. We think sex is a good thing, and that having sex - and therefore losing some of your innocence - is a great thing! Losing your innocence is about gaining new experiences, sexual or otherwise. Innocence-lost means innocence given-up in favour of knowledge. There are many sites on the web that show sensual and erotic photography, and many with written erotica. What we are trying to do is combine the two, and not just have both on the same site, but truly to cross-fertilise them. Our poems and prose are illustrated with a photograph that we feel is appropriate to the work, and in some cases (definitely the ultimate for us) by the image that inspired the work in the first place. Another aspect is not just to present a series of photographs (though with photographs like we have that would be enough!), but to give them a context, sometimes by having the photographer or model write about the work, and sometimes by presenting our own little fantasy to go with the images. This website is a collaboration between photographers, models and writers. Currently much of the photography is by British photographer Tim Phillips - you can view more of his work at his website, Tim Phillips Fine Art Photography. We have a special arrangement with Tim, and many of the photographs on this site will be exclusive to us. Several models are featured, most of whom are not professionals, and most of whom are posing nude for the first time. In particular we are happy to present some of Tim's favourite models and muses. We are also proud to show some work from some of the best photographers around, including Kevin Hundsnurcher and Yuri Jossa from the US and Gabriele Rigon from Italy. We welcome submissions from quality photographers from all over the world. We have a broad variety of writing on a variety of topics with an overriding theme of erotica, and loss of innocence. Don Ewert's poems were inspired by the photographs shown next to them, and are a fascinating insight into one man's view of another man's images. Dane Donato writes erotica and also about what makes erotica. In addition we have a number of poems submitted by visitors inspired by the beauty on show on this site. Another theme is having the photographers and models write about the work shown on the site, which can give an insight into the creative process from both sides of the lens. In some cases the photographs are presented along with a fantasy inspired by and illustrated by the photographs (see for example Gemma, Gemma 2 and Meghann). We welcome submissions of new work, either photographic or written. Go to our submissions page for more information. For our website copyright/trademark information, site blocking information and our privacy policy go to our copyright/trademark/blocking/privacy page. Please note: as a site we are mildly against pornography (which we regard as erotic photography without talent or imagination), and vehemently against exploitation of minors in any way, including child pornography. All models on this website were of legal age when photographed, and model release details are on file. |
