AND I WAS GLAD

How old are you?
A simple question.
She didn't answer,
And I was glad.

There are some things
I'd rather not know.
And I don't really think
It would have changed things.
She just stepped a little closer
And smiled so sweet.
She kissed me gently on the neck
And touched me.

I don't even know your name.
My fear was speaking out,
But she didn't answer,
And I was glad.

I 'm not sure what I was afraid of -
Being hurt or hurting her -
But I couldn't stop
What was coming.
She slipped out of her dress,
And I caressed her young body
And we made love
Forever.

Will I see you again?
