ELLIEEllie writes about her series of photographs shown on this site:Think of a fairground: the most exciting ride is the rollercoaster which appears a damn sight riskier than the carousel, but in reality isn't. And how do you feel once you've experienced the ride? Stronger? More courageous? Damn right. And the peculiar thing is, once you've ridden the roller coaster, it doesn't seem so risky. You feel more confident. But if you never take that first ride, the rollercoaster will always seem intimidating from where you're standing, down below on the safe, solid, boring ground. I believe that you should taste and savour every new experience as though it's your last. Considering I am not an exhibitionist I was surprised at how easy and enjoyable my time working with Tim was. We focussed on a range of images from classic fine art to fun and sexy. During the session I thought 'This is fun. It's a daring, controversial adventure.' And a little controversy never hurt anybody, especially me. While I was posing for Tim I felt beautiful. And as for the saucy pictures, as Hugh Hefner once said, 'Everybody wants to be a sex object .. some of the time.' I couldn't agree more! You can email Ellie at ellie@innocence-lost.com.
