MAYAPhotographer John de Lombardo writes about the Maya series of photographs on this site:"The 'Hotel' series was shot in the penthouse suite of a boutique hotel at Sydney's famous Bondi Beach. This was the second time I had worked with Maya, on that day, I had earlier shot another set for my Artflex site which shows Maya's flexibility. Maya has a yoga background, and for a full figure model is extremely flexible. "Maya is an interesting subject to work with, friendly, funny and at ease with her body. Maya is also a life model for art classes. She oozes sexuality. Almost unintentionally. "My work in general is not sexual. Sure, the bodies are bare, the images revealing, but the visual communication between subject and camera usually remain distant. Maya breaks my rules.
