PAMELAItalian photographer Gabriele Rigon writes about the Pamela series of photographs on this site:"Most photographers want to know something about the 'angel' called Pamela that you can see in some of my galleries, and when I tell them that she is not a professional model, they donąt believe me. It is not difficult to capture a moment of the mercurial vulnerability that draws us into her, she is so beautiful that it is very easy to obtain good photographs when I work with Pamela. As I told you before, she is not a model, she is the classical girl next door, and when you meet her, you feel exactly the same sensation as when you are in front of the pictures. No make up, just the natural beauty of Pamela, it is not necessary to study how to take pictures with her, she poses so naturally that you feel breathless. What comes from the inside is what's visible. One day we had to do a work for a famous jewellery shop in my area, and I decided to call Pamela for the pictures. The jewels were so precious that I decided to do the pictures inside the shop, and I asked the owner if it was possible to do it during the day. Pamela was wearing an elegant long white dress, and the jewels were rich with diamonds. While I was working, many people entered the shop just curious about the situation, and all of them were captured by her beauty. There was an atmosphere of contemplation, and Pamela was so shy that I was thinking about taking a break, but the people were still there, and I decided to continue. In the end the images were so beautiful and perfect that after three days the owner of the shop decided to publish in a newspaper the entire collection of images for his campaign. Pamela is not thinking about becoming a professional model, she has other projects in her life, but probably I will continue to take more pictures of her.
